Roger Bourget was born on August 23, 1957 at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida to proud parents Joseph Roger and Marie Bourget. Roger's father was in the Air Force and was stationed in various cities around the United States including Reno, Nevada and Sweetwater, Texas. Prior to serving his country in Vietnam, Roger's father settled the family in Phoenix, Arizona in 1967. Roger being the oldest of three children found himself acting as the man of the house at the young age of ten. Roger inherited a love of motorcycling from his Dad who started with an old military '45 Harley. Roger got his first motorcycle in fifth grade, a Honda 100 dirt bike. In the late 60's Phoenix had a bountiful supply of undeveloped desert and Roger, his younger brother, and their friends took advantage of a good portion of it.
